On Saleucami, Jedi Auset fought under the command of the great Jedi general, Oppo Rancisis. He fought alongside such Jedi Knights as A'Sharad Hett, Quinlan Vos, K'Kruhk, and more. During a morning raid on a Separatist stronghold on Saleucami, the Jedi Knights engaged the cloned Morgukai and Auset was forced to kill his brethren. But Auset was a Nikto second and a Jedi first, and his duty was to the Republic. As the Jedi made their way closer to the stronghold a fireball exploded directly in front of Ausar incinerating his body and sending him to become one with the Force.

However, the Nikto Jedi's death was not in vain. While the Jedi were coming to the realization that the Separatists' defenses were just too strong and impermeable, Jedi Master Oppo Rancisis prophesised that a path below would be revealed. When Auset was killed by the explosion, a crater opened up and revealed to the Jedi an underground passageway that would lead them past the enemy's defenses. With Auset's death, he gave allowed the Jedi to take one step closer to victory.
